As i am into Furniture Manufacturing, bare handily checking heavy logs and finished goods until now, and often getting hurt by wood chunks and sharp edges in the process. This glove was a welcome add-on.
After one day of use, I have below observations:
• It gives extra confidence to handle the logs.
• Handling the logs is half the task now due to the rubber grip.
• I could easily pick a 6 Kg. wood planks with three fingers which was not possible with two hands in normal conditions.
• Providing these gloves to my workforce would increase the efficiency by at least 30% as we need to move goods physical very often by the workforce between processes.
• Good to see that the glove is a smartphone touch screen friendly.
Suggestion:-
• Wearing the gloves for longer period is uncomfortable. The hands become sweaty. Industrial environments are mostly hot and uncomfortable. Keeping the fabric little airy with holes can help the cause.
• A loop to hang the gloves by Spring Snap Carabiner Hook can be handy, while not in use.
• A cheaper version can be more useful for broader acceptance in the MSMEs and Micro Units.
CONCLUSION :
Very useful product needs to be more penetrated in Indian work culture, where most of the MSMEs and Micro factories are unaware of the advantages of using these wearables which can actually improves efficiency for increased productivity.
